Sales Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales job in Seattle?
The strongest entry points in Seattle are technology and cloud services, where companies in South Lake Union and the Denny Triangle hire account executives, business development representatives, and inside sales associates on a rolling basis. Familiarity with SaaS sales cycles and CRM tools gives candidates a clear edge here. Healthcare and life sciences employers around First Hill and the medical district also hire consistently, particularly for territory and clinical sales roles.
Which companies hire saless in Seattle?
Employers hiring saless in Seattle right now include Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and Paychex, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Seattle's mix of global tech headquarters, regional healthcare systems, and mid-size SaaS companies means the hiring pool covers everything from enterprise account management to outbound SDR roles.
Are there remote sales jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the type of role: inside sales, account management, and SaaS-focused positions are commonly remote or hybrid, while field sales and territory roles tied to Seattle's healthcare or retail sectors are mostly on-site. About 42% of sales openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how many tech employers here have adopted flexible work policies. Enterprise software and cloud companies in South Lake Union tend to post the highest share of remote-eligible sales positions.
How can I get a sales job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic starting point in Seattle is a sales development representative or business development representative role at one of the city's many SaaS and cloud companies, which regularly hire candidates without prior sales experience if they can demonstrate strong communication and a willingness to learn. Companies in South Lake Union and Belltown often run structured SDR programs with clear promotion tracks. Retail and hospitality employers downtown also hire entry-level sales associates who can later move into B2B or corporate roles.
Which industries hire the most saless in Seattle?
The sectors hiring the most saless in Seattle are Technology & Software, Retail, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Seattle's concentration of cloud computing headquarters, regional health networks, and a growing fintech corridor makes these sectors the most consistent sources of open sales roles in the city.
