Position Summary

American Guard Services is seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to oversee our security operations in Oakland, CA. This leadership role is responsible for managing a large-scale security program, supervising field personnel and leadership staff, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a security operation consisting of 100+ security professionals and 24-hour Road Supervisors.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and workforce deployment to ensure all posts remain fully staffed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate supervisors and security personnel.
• Conduct site inspections, operational reviews, and performance audits.
• Review scheduling, payroll, labor costs, and staffing metrics to maximize efficiency.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies, client concerns, and critical incidents as needed.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership and internal departments to improve operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience in security operations, account management, or multi-site operations leadership.
• Demonstrated experience supervising large teams and managing supervisors or field leaders.
• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, and operational oversight.
• Experience with workforce management platforms such as TrackTik or similar systems is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel between assigned locations and respond to operational needs outside normal business hours when required.
