Security Product Manager Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a security product manager in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire does not require a state-issued license to work as a security product manager, so the path runs through education and credentials rather than a licensing board. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, paired with hands-on product or security experience. Certifications like CISSP or CISM carry particular weight with New Hampshire's defense and enterprise technology employers, who treat them as a practical signal of domain depth alongside product management fundamentals.
Which companies hire security product managers in New Hampshire?
Employers hiring security product managers in New Hampshire right now include BAE Systems USA, Target, and Omron, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of defense contractors and enterprise software firms along the Route 3 and I-93 corridors makes it one of the more active hiring markets in the Northeast for security-focused product roles.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most security product manager jobs?
Nashua, Merrimack, and Salem account for the largest share of security product manager openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua anchor the market as the state's two largest cities, home to enterprise technology campuses and defense contractor offices, while Portsmouth draws additional openings from cybersecurity firms and federal contractor sites along the seacoast that support both commercial and government security programs.
Are there remote security product manager jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of security product manager openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of the role centers on roadmap planning, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional coordination rather than on-site lab or hardware work. The most consistently remote tasks include product discovery, requirements writing, and sprint planning, though security architecture reviews and compliance walkthroughs often require in-person or secure-facility access.
How can I get hired as a security product manager in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a lateral move from a security analyst, IT project coordinator, or compliance associate role, which gives candidates direct exposure to security workflows that New Hampshire employers value when evaluating first-time product managers. BAE Systems and Oracle both run associate and rotational programs in New Hampshire that accept candidates with strong technical foundations but limited PM experience. Building a portfolio around a specific security domain, earning an entry-level certification like CompTIA Security+, and targeting associate product manager or technical program coordinator roles at mid-size New Hampshire cybersecurity firms are concrete ways to open the door.
Where can I find and apply to security product manager jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to security product manager jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, find one that fits your experience and preferred location, and apply directly through the listing without any intermediary step.
