Massachusetts's dense concentration of financial services, biopharma, and health-tech employers means candidates who build expertise in regulated-data environments or cloud-native BI stacks are consistently competitive in the local market.
How much do senior business intelligence engineers make in Massachusetts?
Senior business intelligence engineers in Massachusetts earn a median of about $131,750 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,030 for the lowest 10% to over $206,220 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.

Which Massachusetts cities have the most senior business intelligence engineer jobs?
