Senior Clinical Project Manager Jobs in Nevada: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a senior clinical project manager in Nevada?
The path typically starts with a bachelor's degree in a clinical or life sciences field, followed by several years in clinical research coordination or monitoring roles. Nevada does not require a state-issued license specific to clinical project management, but employers consistently expect certification through bodies such as the Society of Clinical Research Associates or the Project Management Institute. Building experience with multi-site trial oversight and FDA-regulated studies is the most direct route to senior-level roles in the state.
How much do senior clinical project managers make in Nevada?
Senior clinical project managers in Nevada earn a median of about $99,940 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,610 for the lowest 10% to over $162,830 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior clinical project managers in Nevada?
Companies currently hiring senior clinical project managers in Nevada include Tesla, MGM Resorts International, and LifeStance Health, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nevada's growing clinical research footprint, particularly in Las Vegas and Reno, has attracted both regional health systems and national contract research organizations actively building out project management teams.
Which Nevada cities have the most senior clinical project manager jobs?
Las Vegas, Reno, and Henderson have the most senior clinical project manager openings in Nevada. Las Vegas and Henderson dominate due to the concentration of large hospital systems, outpatient networks, and contract research organizations serving the region's substantial patient population, while Reno's openings are largely driven by Renown Health and the research activity connected to the University of Nevada, Reno medical programs.
Are there remote senior clinical project manager jobs in Nevada?
Yes, and more than many clinical roles allow. About 28% of senior clinical project manager openings tied to Nevada are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of the work centers on documentation, vendor oversight, and cross-site coordination rather than on-site presence. Regulatory affairs management, protocol development, and sponsor-facing project oversight are the functions most likely to be conducted fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a senior clinical project manager in Nevada with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a clinical research coordinator role at a Nevada hospital or research site, where you gain direct trial experience under a senior manager. Large systems such as Renown Health and the Valley Health System periodically post coordinator and associate project manager openings that serve as on-ramps. Pursuing a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator credential early strengthens applications considerably, and lateral moves from roles in regulatory affairs, data management, or clinical operations are common pathways into project management without starting at the bottom.
Where can I find and apply to senior clinical project manager jobs in Nevada?
You can find and apply to senior clinical project manager jobs in Nevada on Migrate Mate, which lists current Nevada openings updated regularly. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the ones that match.
