Senior Quality Manager Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a senior quality manager in New Hampshire?
Senior quality manager roles in New Hampshire typically require a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field combined with several years of quality leadership experience. The state has no government-issued license for quality managers, but employers in defense and aerospace strongly favor candidates holding ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. Relevant industry credentials like AS9100 lead auditor certification are especially valued among New Hampshire's defense and advanced manufacturing employers.
How much do senior quality managers make in New Hampshire?
Senior quality managers in New Hampshire earn a median of about $146,590 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $92,570 for the lowest 10% to over $218,800 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior quality managers in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire senior quality manager roles are posted by BAE Systems USA, L3Harris, and Jabil and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of defense contractors, precision manufacturers, and medical device firms means hiring activity is particularly sustained along the I-93 and Route 3 corridors in the southern part of the state.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most senior quality manager jobs?
Nashua, Manchester, and Londonderry account for the largest share of senior quality manager openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua drive volume through their dense clusters of defense contractors and advanced manufacturers, while smaller cities like Concord attract quality leadership roles tied to healthcare systems and state-regulated industries anchored by major regional institutions.
Are there remote senior quality manager jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, but they're rare. Senior quality manager work is largely hands-on, requiring floor presence, audit oversight, and direct supplier engagement that cannot be done remotely. About 25% of senior quality manager openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those that do offer flexibility tend to be enterprise-level quality system or compliance roles with limited production floor responsibility.
How can I get hired as a senior quality manager in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a quality engineer or quality technician role at one of New Hampshire's manufacturing employers and building toward management. Companies like BAE Systems and Benchmark Electronics hire quality engineers at the associate level and promote internally. Earning an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer credential early signals commitment and accelerates advancement. Lateral moves from manufacturing engineering, production supervision, or supply chain roles are common bridges into quality leadership in New Hampshire.
