Role and Responsibilities
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will build robust, scalable automation frameworks that ensure our products remain high-quality and reliable. The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) moves beyond basic script recording and is comfortable writing clean, maintainable C# code. The Software Development Engineer in Test will leverage Playwright to create modern end-to-end test suites that move at the speed of our CI/CD pipeline. The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is expected to perform these and additional duties and responsibilities professionally and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of Liviniti:
Framework Development: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks from scratch using C# and Playwright.
Test Strategy: Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify high-risk areas and define automation coverage for web applications and APIs.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated suites into Azure pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and "shift-left" practices.
Code Reviews: Participate in PR reviews for both application and test code, ensuring adherence to SOLID principles and clean code standards.
Debugging & Reporting: Root cause analysis of flaky tests and production defects, providing detailed technical reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Ability to communicate QA status, progress, and risks to management
Advise team on project status and opportunities for improvement
Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI)
If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.
Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company
