The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing our servers and network, troubleshooting tech issues, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Management- Administer and maintain servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
Technical Support- Provide helpdesk support for hardware and software issues. Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and user support.
Software and Hardware- Handle installation, configuration, and updates for software applications. Manage hardware inventory and coordinate repairs and replacements.
Security - Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard company data. Ensure regular backups and manage disaster recovery processes.
Documentation-Keep detailed records of IT assets and make sure documentation is kept up to date.
Vendor Coordination-Work with external vendors for software, licensing and hardware purchases/support.
Qualifications:
Experience - at least 3 years of experience in IT systems administration with a solid background in helpdesk support.
Technical Skills-Proficient in managing windows servers, network configuration, and troubleshooting, with a good understanding of SQL, Office 365, Azure, Sharepoint and other Microsoft on premise and cloud based services.
Problem-solving - strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Communication - Capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical team members clearly and effectively.
Adaptability- Comfortable with a range of tasks and able to adapt to changing priorities.
