The Business Development & Sales role is a key contributor to the companys growth, responsible for generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and representing Landtechs values and capabilities in the marketplace. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, engage with a diverse client base, and make a direct impact on the companys success.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new commercial landscape maintenance sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified opportunities throughout the Front Range region.
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals as established by company leadership.
- Schedule and conduct property assessments to understand client needs, service requirements, and potential enhancement opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, HOA boards, developers, and commercial property owners.
- Represent Landtech professionally, promoting the companys services, capabilities, and values at all times.
- Develop and present professional proposals that align with client expectations and company objectives.
- Consistently follow up on proposals and sales opportunities to maximize closing ratios.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure proposed services can be delivered successfully and efficiently.
- Participate in industry associations, networking events, trade shows, and community events to increase company visibility and generate leads.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns supporting maintenance, construction, and snow removal services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven success in business development, outside sales, account management, or commercial service sales.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to identify client needs and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact confidently with business owners, property managers, and executive-level decision makers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to walk commercial properties and construction sites for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work occasional extended hours as required to meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Preferred: Experience in commercial landscape maintenance, irrigation, snow removal, or related green industry services.
- Preferred: Experience estimating maintenance and enhancement services.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Aspire, PropertyIntel, or similar CRM and estimating software.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
Offered compensation: $80,000/yr - $110,000/yr
