Candidates who stand out typically have case management experience, strong documentation habits, and familiarity with the care coordination or dispatch workflows common to Indianapolis's major hospital networks and community organizations.

Indianapolis's mix of large hospital systems, behavioral health agencies, and regional logistics companies makes it one of Indiana's most active markets for this role.
Are there remote service coordinator jobs in Indianapolis?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role type. Hands-on positions in healthcare or field-based social services are almost always on-site, while desk-based coordination roles in insurance, logistics dispatch, and administrative services are more commonly remote or hybrid. About 0% of service coordinator openings tied to Indianapolis are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with scheduling and insurance coordination roles representing the largest share of those flexible listings.
How can I get a service coordinator job in Indianapolis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Indianapolis is through administrative or customer service roles at one of the city's major healthcare systems or nonprofit social service agencies, which regularly hire entry-level coordinators and promote from within.
