Job Summary
The FieldService Specialist is responsible for hands-on installation,troubleshooting, and validation of equipment at client sites.
This role serves as the frontline execution resource, ensuring all fieldwork is completed according to defined SOPs, quality benchmarks, and safetystandards while maintaining high productivity across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation and configuration of equipment and systems.
Execute troubleshooting and repairs to resolve technical issues in real time.
Conduct testing and validation to confirm system functionality post-install.
Follow strict SOP adherence to ensure consistency and quality outcomes.
Complete service documentation and reporting for each installation.
Maintain tools, equipment, and on-hand inventory of parts.
Provide on-site client interaction and basic training on installed systems.
Identify and escalate field risks, delays, or technical challenges.
Support continuous install throughput targets across assigned sites.
Collaborate with FSM and Program teams to optimize execution.
Travel Expectations
75–100% travel required (full deployment model).
Continuous movement between project sites (regional or nationwide).
Extended stays near active job locations (weeks at a time typical).
Flexibility for:
Night/weekend work.
Accelerated schedules tied to client deadlines.
Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on field service, installation, or technical experience.
Strong mechanical/electrical/technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently in dynamic field environments.
Willingness to travel extensively and operate in variable site conditions.
Experience following structured SOPs and safety requirements.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determinecompensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. Theminimum salary for the Field Service Specialist position is $58,905.60 annually[or $28.32 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Field Service Specialistposition is $72,800.00 annually [or $35.00 per hour]. The compensation that isoffered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills,qualifications, and experience.
