As a Service Desk Operator / Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to provide outstanding customer service, both on the phone and in the field, while resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer care
- Provide technical support to customers for network hardware and software
- Travel to customer locations as needed
- Perform installation, decommissioning and field service requests for various OEM network equipment providers
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT support
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to document, track and resolve customer issues using ticketing software
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Excellent driving record
- Honesty, integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Lift items that weigh up to 50 pounds unassisted (up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Ability to travel to customer locations within the assigned territory
- Professional home office environment
- Reliable phone, laptop/PC and high-speed Internet required.
