What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure that assigned properties remain functional, safe, and properly maintained.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Carrying out general building repairs, routine maintenance, and property upkeep.
- Handling basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, lighting, masonry, and minor mechanical repair work.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and appropriately.
- Responding to service requests and helping address maintenance concerns promptly.
- Performing preventive maintenance to minimize equipment issues and avoid unnecessary repairs.
- Inspecting facilities to identify potential problems, damaged fixtures, or areas requiring attention.
- Reporting repair requirements, equipment concerns, and maintenance findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Keeping workspaces, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good condition.
- Following established company procedures, safety requirements, and proper work practices.
- Supporting property upgrades, improvement projects, and other maintenance-related assignments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Be physically capable of performing maintenance duties in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Be comfortable handling tools and performing practical, hands-on tasks.
- Demonstrate a responsible approach to workplace safety.
- Be able to follow instructions and complete assigned work with minimal supervision.
- Work effectively both independently and with other team members.
