Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the retail sales team during your shift, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) system transactions, and ensuring operational standards are met
• Oversee inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, inventory control, and ordering to ensure product availability and presentation standards are maintained
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and supporting their training & development to foster a knowledgeable and engaged team
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly with excellent communication skills, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare shift reports, and implement strategies to improve sales efficiency and store productivity
• Ensure compliance with company policies on cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, pricing accuracy, and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or managerial experience within retail sales or a similar customer-focused environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and operational procedures such as merchandising and stocking
• Knowledge of retail math including basic math skills for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and sales calculations
• Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing techniques, and team management
• Familiarity with retail industry sales strategies, customer service excellence standards, and operational management practices
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high levels of professionalism with phone etiquette and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of budgeting processes and payroll procedures is advantageous

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
