Apollo Global Management is seeking a senior leader to serve as Head of Client Operations and Reporting, with responsibility for the governance, delivery, and strategic evolution of investor reporting across Apollo’s global platform.
This role will oversee firmwide reporting activities across all market strategies, ensuring consistency, accuracy, scalability, and alignment with Apollo’s client service standards. The Head of Client Reporting will work closely with Product, Finance, Controllers, Technology, and Client teams to strengthen reporting infrastructure, enhance operating leverage, and support continued growth of the firm. This leader will be accountable for defining and executing the firmwide client reporting operating model, establishing clear success metrics, and driving cross-functional change across Product, Finance, Controllers, Operations, Technology, and client-facing teams.
Core Responsibilities
Global Reporting Oversight:
- Own the end-to-end client reporting framework across strategies, vehicles, and regions
- Establish firmwide standards for content, delivery, controls, and governance
- Ensure reporting outputs meet internal quality standards and external regulatory and client requirements
Operating Model & Governance:
- Define and maintain a clear operating model spanning Product, Controllers, Operations, and Technology
- Clarify ownership, decision rights, and escalation protocols across reporting workflows
- Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between reporting capabilities and business priorities
Scalability & Efficiency:
- Drive standardization and automation to reduce manual processes and operational risk
- Support efforts to measure and manage reporting-related cost-to-serve
- Lead rationalization of reporting tools, vendors, and workflows as appropriate
Data & Technology Partnership:
- Act as senior business owner for reporting platforms and related technology initiatives
- Partner with Technology and Data teams to improve upstream data quality, controls, and availability
- Support development of reporting-ready data models and reusable outputs
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Ensure reporting supports a high-quality, consistent client experience across Apollo’s investor base
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex or sensitive reporting matters
- Engage with client-facing teams to align reporting practices with evolving client needs
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a global team spanning reporting, product, and operational functions
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations
- Promote a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 12+ years of experience in client reporting, fund operations, product management, or related functions within alternative asset management or complex financial institutions
- Deep understanding of private markets reporting, including capital accounts, performance reporting, investor communications, and disclosures
- Demonstrated experience operating across Product, Finance, Controllers, and Technology teams
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes in a scaled organization
Preferred
- Experience leading reporting or data transformation initiatives in a large asset manager
- Familiarity with reporting platforms, data warehouses, and vendor ecosystems
- Experience managing global teams across multiple strategies and geographies

Pay Range
$325,000 - $375,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
