We’re looking for a self-motivated, multi-talented social media strategist who brings ideas and energy — and knows how to turn those ideas into action and progress, both for our agency and for our clients. This role goes beyond content calendars: you’ll build and present social strategy with confidence, lead client trainings, and champion our “Social CEO” program to help B2B executives finally show up on camera in a way that actually works.
Your Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with The Marketing Blender team to build 10–20 monthly social media content calendars
- Participate in weekly team meetings to review client progress and deadlines
- Partner with designers, video editors, digital ad managers, and CMOs to develop holistic social media strategies
- Develop and automate unique social media content across platforms for multiple clients at once
- Write social media posts in differing voices, styles, and tones based on brand guidelines
- Engage with audiences and respond to DMs and comments per individual client specifications
- Create graphics and templates on Canva (or chosen design tool) as needed
- Experience and/or testing and experimenting with a variety of AI tools without falling victim to AI slop
- Monitor competitors and track relevant ideas, advertisements, campaigns, and trends
- Provide benchmarks and best practices based on each client’s industry
- Assist with light copy for ebooks and emails as needed
- Edit basic video content — trimming, captions, simple motion graphics — and help repurpose long-form client content (webinars, podcasts, executive interviews) into platform-specific clips
- Manage or support basic paid social efforts, including when and how to boost posts (deeper paid strategy will be trained on the job)

Strategy, Presenting & Client Leadership
- Build and present social media strategy decks to clients and internal teams with clarity and confidence
- Lead client trainings — walking clients through strategy, tools, and the “why” behind our recommendations in a way that builds buy-in and trust
- Comfortable leading client meetings, defending strategic recommendations, and earning buy-in — not just executing tasks handed down
- Strong verbal communication skills; able to translate data and trends into a compelling narrative for non-marketers
- Genuine curiosity about how social media is evolving — and its growing role in SEO/GEO, brand building, and talent attraction — and an eagerness to bring that thinking into client strategy
- Complete a monthly scorecard for every assigned client, tracking progress, engagement, and the impact of social efforts
Activating Clients On Camera (“Social CEO”)
Most of our B2B clients are willing to get on camera — they just don’t know what to do once they’re there. That’s where you come in.
- Lead clients through The Marketing Blender’s Social CEO program, giving busy executives the structure, prompts, and simple production support they need to film usable content quickly
- Develop repeatable, low-lift content frameworks (talking points, prompts, short scripts) that make it easy for executives to film in 15 minutes or less
- Provide basic on-the-spot coaching on delivery, framing, and message clarity during client shoots or calls
- Turn our existing Social CEO process from a good idea on paper into something we consistently activate with clients
What You Bring
- Relevant training/experience in marketing, social media, or content strategy, with a proven track record and samples of previous work
- A minimum of 3 years in social media management
- Experience collaborating with creative teams
- Experience creating unique social media content for a variety of companies or brands — we value strong craft and transferable skill as much as a direct industry match
- A deep familiarity with LinkedIn and how to organically build followers and engagement
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar); experience or a strong interest in YouTube and/or TikTok, and how short- and long-form video translates across platforms
- Familiarity with boosting/promoting posts and basic paid social concepts (budget, targeting, objective selection)
- Experience creating a social media content calendar from start to finish
- Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple clients at the same time
- Ability to adjust content tone, style, and voice to different brand guidelines
- Solid knowledge of social media tools and automation software
- A true idea generator who doesn’t wait to be told what to create — someone who sees an opportunity, pitches it, and runs with it
- Comfortable taking a rough concept from leadership or a client and turning it into a finished, polished deliverable without heavy hand-holding
- Excellent collaborator with flexibility and follow-through
- Willingness to help where needed, support team members, and bring a positive outlook and contribution consistently
- Ability to think big picture while still maintaining attention to detail
