ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AMD is hiring a Sr. Software Developer to Research, design, develop, and/or test enterprise systems-level software, compilers for business operations. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products. Implement AI features to enhance IT business processes. Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet related tools. Work in an area of specialization to develop systems-level software, working on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Utilize knowledge of computers software, applications, and programming, as well as knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD systems and products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Degree required
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Amount and type of experience required
One (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer, Business Systems Analyst, or closely related technology analyst/developer occupation.
Specific skills required
The following skills are required:
- One (1) year of experience in C+ and .net programming;
- Java or JavaScript;
- Git, Angular, MS SQL Server, and SQL;
- Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform; and
- Implementing, deploying, and onboarding APIs.
