Job Overview
Use your expertise and knowledge to support the Marketing teams at T-Mobile. The Enterprise Sourcing Manager is a strategic partner responsible for handling and optimizing spending across multiple categories. This role leads end to end sourcing and contracting activities - from category strategy development and RFP execution through contract negotiation and management – ensuring T-Mobile secures best in class suppliers and terms that align with corporate objectives and operational needs.
This is an individual contributor role responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of marketing spend across multiple sourcing categories. The ideal candidate brings expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, combined with a strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with T-Mobile’s marketing strategy. This position uses data-driven insights, modern AI-powered tools, and market intelligence to drive cost efficiency, mitigate supply risk, and continuously improve supplier performance across a sophisticated and high-visibility category portfolio.
This role is the primary sourcing owner for the following sub-categories:
- Field Marketing: Experiential marketing agencies, local activation and event agencies, and supporting platforms.
- Marketing Print, Packaging & Production: Direct mail suppliers, retail merchandising and fulfillment suppliers, packaging suppliers
- Direct Marketing Activities & Loyalty Programs
- Additional marketing and digital services categories based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements category strategies that align with T-Mobile business objectives, marketing priorities and contributes significant cost savings.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including requirements gathering, RFP/RFI development, proposal evaluation, scenario analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation to deliver optimal value and terms.
- Drafts, Negotiates and manages long-term supplier contracts, ensuring favorable commercial terms, SLAs, and compliance with T-Mobile’s legal and risk requirements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular business reviews, performance score-carding, and proactive issue resolution to drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI-powered procurement tools, spend analytics, and market intelligence to generate insights, identify savings opportunities, and support data-driven sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Finance, and risk management to ensure sourcing strategies and supplier engagements meet operational and compliance needs.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of related work experience, OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience. Preferred areas of study in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or related field (Required)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-7 years’ Experience in strategic sourcing and contracting, particularly in print marketing, creative, professional services, digital marketing.
- 4-7 years’ Experience - Category strategy development, including spend analysis, market benchmarking, RFP/RFI management, and supplier selection.
- 2–4 years - Supplier relationship management and performance management, including QBRs and score-carding.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered or advanced analytics tools to improve sourcing, contract management, supplier analysis, or procurement decision making.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Negotiation - Expertise in negotiating commercial terms, SLAs and contract structures with suppliers to ensure favorable outcomes for T-Mobile. (Required)
- Strategic Sourcing - Ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with category – specific market dynamics and corporate objectives. (Required)
- Supplier Relationship Management - Skills in overseeing and enhancing supplier relationships, including conducting performance evaluations and driving continuous improvement. (Required)
- Category Strategy Development - Ability to analyze spend, market conditions, and stakeholder needs to build multi-year category strategies. (Required)
- Communication - Ability to clearly communicate sourcing strategies, recommendations, and results to stakeholders at all levels. (Required)
- Stakeholder Management - Skilled at building trust-based relationships with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Risk, and other business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational priorities. (Required)
- AI Tool Proficiency - Experience using AI-powered tools (generative AI, contract analytics, spend intelligence) to enhance sourcing efficiency and decision quality. (Preferred)
- Financial Analysis - Strong ability to analyze spend data, model scenarios, and quantify savings and value delivery. (Required)
- Business Acumen - Understanding of market trends and business principles relevant to procurement and supply chain management. (Required)
- Project Management - Capability to handle concurrent sourcing projects with competing priorities, milestones, and deliverables. (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge and skills in supply chain management, including procurement and sourcing strategies. (Preferred)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that signifies expertise in supply management and procurement functions. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $88,100 - $158,800
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
