Strong candidates often build experience through the University of Hawaii's College of Natural Sciences or its Information and Computer Sciences program.
How much do specialist - software engineerings make in Hawaii?
Specialist - software engineerings in Hawaii earn a median of about $124,040 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $64,690 for the lowest 10% to over $238,930 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
