Who's Hiring

Strategy Jobs in Omaha: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a strategy job in Omaha?
The most direct path is targeting Omaha's dominant sectors: insurance and financial services anchored downtown and in Midtown, healthcare systems concentrated near the medical center corridor, and the growing tech and logistics operations in West Omaha. Candidates with experience in corporate strategy, competitive analysis, or business development stand out. Familiarity with Omaha's close-knit professional community and local industry networks gives applicants a practical edge over generalist candidates.
Which companies hire strategys in Omaha?
Companies currently hiring strategys in Omaha include Deloitte and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Omaha's employer base skews toward large insurers, regional banks, health systems, and logistics firms, all of which maintain in-house strategy functions and hire on a rolling basis.
Are there remote strategy jobs in Omaha?
Yes, though it depends on the role. Strategy work that is primarily analytical, planning-focused, or advisory tends to be more remote-friendly than roles requiring close collaboration with executive teams or on-site stakeholders. About 100% of strategy openings tied to Omaha are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Corporate and financial strategy roles at Omaha's larger employers are most likely to offer flexible or hybrid arrangements.
How can I get a strategy job in Omaha with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Omaha is through analyst or associate roles at the city's insurance carriers, regional banks, or health systems, many of which run structured rotational or development programs. Lateral moves from finance, operations, or consulting functions within these same organizations are a common path locally. Building connections through Omaha's professional associations and business groups accelerates visibility with hiring managers at employers who rarely post externally.
