This role is based at one of our corporate offices in Dallas, TX or McLean, VA; or Remote
This is your chance to be part of a Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) that is offering owned, managed, and franchised Hilton hotels world-class revenue management talent and tools. As a Senior Analyst, Project Support-Strategic Operations, you will support the team that's helping hotels grow market share and outperform competitors. On the Strategic Operations team reporting to the Manager, Project Support, you will work on projects including developing analytics data products and designing performance dashboards.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Develop Python-based Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to create reports and tools
- Author complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, aggregation, and reporting
- Build Excel-based financial and operational tools using VBA (macros, custom functions, PivotTable automation, Power Query integration)
- Integrate with RESTful APIs, managing secure authentication and credential storage (e.g., keyring)
- Profile pipeline performance — enhance Python code (cProfile) and SQL execution plans
- Document ETL processes, data models, and maintain a centralized data catalog
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Partner with RMCC teams, Analytics, BI, and Commercial Services teams to translate use cases into scalable data products
- Mentor junior analysts and developers in Python, SQL, and VBA best practices; lead knowledge-sharing workshops
- Provide strategic advisory to business and technical partners on analytics best practices and data-product adoption
- Collaborate with partners to define and measure performance metrics and evaluate data-product impact
Projects you'll take ownership of:
- Architect performance-outlook dashboards and self-service reporting tools that surface revenue and commercial trends
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of analytics data products
- Design data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support reporting
- Ensure compliance with security and data-governance policies, including secure credential management and access controls
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years professional experience in analytics/data-engineering roles
- Experience authoring complex SQL (Redshift, SQL Server, MySQL) and stored procedures
- Two (2) years coding development experience (macros, automation, PivotTables)
- Proficient in Python (ETL frameworks, pandas, NumPy) and advanced Excel (Power Query, functions)
- Experience in requirements elicitation for KPI frameworks and reporting structures, transforming business inputs into data stories and dashboard architectures that optimize operational performance
- Travel up to 10%
It would be useful if you have:
- Understanding of data-modeling principles (star/snowflake schemas)
- Experience in cross‑functional project management and requirements translation, converting business objectives into detailed technical specifications
- Experience with BI tools: MicroStrategy, Alteryx, Power BI
- Experience with Airtable, Salesforce, GitLab, and Power Automate Front end website development

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $57,500 – $80,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company. #LI-REMOTE
