- Work with metal, glass, and ceramic fabrication methods and equipment as we develop our manufacturing processes
- Support EHS program implementation, applying OSHA regulations and partnering with third-party EHS groups on audits, training, and compliance

- A hands-on mindset and eagerness to learn welding, wiring, controls, and mechanical assembly
- Exposure to or strong interest in metal, glass, and ceramic fabrication methods and equipment
- Familiarity with EHS and OSHA regulations, and willingness to learn and collaborate with third-party EHS partners
- Comfort working in an active factory and construction environment
Why Exowatt
You'll help build a factory — literally — at one of the fastest-moving companies in clean energy, with direct mentorship from the team scaling our manufacturing operations. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. Supply Chain Jobs in Austin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a supply chain job in Austin?
Focus on Austin's highest-hiring sectors: semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, e-commerce fulfillment, and tech hardware companies clustered in North Austin and the Domain. Procurement, demand planning, and logistics coordination roles see the most consistent openings. Candidates who can show hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle and who have worked across cross-functional teams tend to move faster through Austin hiring pipelines than those with purely academic backgrounds.
Which companies hire supply chains in Austin?
Companies currently hiring supply chains in Austin include Amazon, Tesla, and AMD, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Austin's mix of large semiconductor fabs, consumer electronics brands, and high-growth tech hardware firms means demand comes from both corporate procurement teams and lean startup operations teams.
Are there remote supply chain jobs in Austin?
Yes, though it depends heavily on the role: hands-on positions like warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and manufacturing floor oversight are almost always on-site, while demand planning, procurement analysis, and vendor management skew more remote-friendly. About 14% of supply chain openings tied to Austin are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the remote share concentrated in analytical and strategic roles at Austin's tech and semiconductor companies.
How can I get a supply chain job in Austin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Austin is through operations coordinator or inventory analyst roles at the city's consumer electronics and manufacturing companies, many of which run structured associate programs. Austin Community College and UT Austin both feed local employers with candidates who hold supply chain certifications like APICS CSCP or CPIM, which carry real weight here. Targeting third-party logistics providers and fulfillment centers in the East Riverside and South Austin corridors is also a practical first step, as they hire entry-level consistently.
Which industries hire the most supply chains in Austin?
The sectors hiring the most supply chains in Austin are Technology & Software, Retail, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Austin's identity as a hub for semiconductor production, consumer electronics assembly, and high-growth e-commerce operations drives steady demand for supply chain talent across procurement, logistics, and demand planning functions.
