Mid Level Technical Solutions Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level technical solutions consultant job?
Position yourself around ownership, not just participation. Highlight deals or implementations you led, complex problems you diagnosed independently, and clients you managed through the full solution cycle. Tailor your resume to show measurable outcomes, such as deployment timelines shortened or client satisfaction scores improved, and emphasize any cross-functional coordination you drove without direct supervision.
Which companies hire mid level technical solutions consultants?
Companies hiring mid level technical solutions consultants right now include Figma, Google, and VTS, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of enterprise software vendors, managed services providers, and large technology-forward organizations that need consultants who can run client engagements with limited hand-holding.
Are there remote mid level technical solutions consultant jobs?
Yes, and the share is substantial. About 40% of mid level technical solutions consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how client-facing solution work has shifted toward virtual delivery. Fully on-site roles still exist, typically for enterprise accounts that require hands-on system integration or security-sensitive environments.
How do I move up to a mid level technical solutions consultant role?
The path runs through depth and demonstrated ownership. Spend your first few years mastering the technical fundamentals of your platform or product stack, then actively seek out projects where you own a deliverable from scoping through client sign-off. Measurable impact, such as leading a migration or reducing escalation rates, signals readiness for mid level responsibilities far more than time alone.
Which industries hire the most mid level technical solutions consultants?
Mid Level technical solutions consultant roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Non-Profit & Social Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive demand because they deploy complex software or infrastructure at scale and need consultants who can translate technical capability into client-ready solutions without constant senior oversight.
