Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-oriented Technical Service Engineer with direct experience in the golf cart industry. This position is responsible for providing technical support, diagnostics, training, and after-sales service to our dealer network. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of golf cart programming systems, the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose low-speed vehicle issues, and experience in filing and managing warranty claims.
You will also be responsible for training dealers on how to use programmer tools, enhancing service quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires someone who is not only technically competent but also possesses excellent communication and service mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and diagnostic services for golf cart systems.
- Work closely with dealers to troubleshoot vehicle issues and provide timely solutions.
- Deliver hands-on training to dealers on how to use golf cart programming tools effectively.
- Handle and process warranty claims, including documentation and follow-up.
- Develop after-sales processes and improve service procedures.
- Maintain detailed service records and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, sales, production) to solve field issues.
- Act as a service advisor and technical liaison for dealers and clients.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in the golf cart industry (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Hands-on experience with golf cart programmer tools
- Strong vehicle diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in filing warranty claims and communicating with warranty departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally for on-site dealer support and training.
