Entry Level Territory Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level territory manager job?
Focus on demonstrating coachability, self-motivation, and any experience managing accounts, routes, or customer relationships, even from internships, part-time sales roles, or campus involvement. Employers at this level prioritize candidates who can show they've prospected, followed up, or closed a sale in any context. A clean resume with quantified results and a confident phone screen manner go a long way.
Which companies hire entry level territory managers?
Companies hiring entry level territory managers right now include Toast, Toast, and SpotOn, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from distributors, medical device companies, consumer goods brands, and regional service businesses that build their sales force by developing junior talent from the ground up.
Are there remote entry level territory manager jobs?
Yes, though most territory roles are field-based by nature. About 40% of entry level territory manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, typically covering inside sales support, account coordination, or geographies served by phone and video rather than daily in-person visits. Fully remote postings at this level are less common but do exist, particularly in software and technology sales.
Are these new grad territory manager jobs?
Yes. Many of the postings here are new grad territory manager roles that welcome recent graduates, junior candidates, and career changers with little or no prior experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically mentions zero to two years of experience as sufficient, accepts internship history, or calls out training programs designed to bring candidates up to speed in the field.
Which industries hire the most entry level territory managers?
Entry Level territory manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Medical Devices, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their revenue models depend on field-based account growth, product placement, or route expansion, creating a steady need for junior managers who can own and develop a defined geographic area.
