Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
Legend Biotech is seeking a Sr. Manager, Biostatistician/Programmer as part of the Clinical team based in Somerset, NJ.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sr. Manager, Biostatistician/Programmer plays a critical hands-on role in supporting Legend Biotech's clinical development programs by transforming clinical trial data into high-quality analyses, tables, figures, and listings that inform decision-making. This role partners closely with clinical, translational, research stakeholders to deliver timely insights, conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses, and deeply understand the medical and scientific questions underlying the data. The position requires strong programming expertise, data agility, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving biotech environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, validate, and maintain high-quality Tables, Figures, and Listings (TFLs) to support ongoing clinical trials, interim analyses, and internal/external deliverables in compliance with study requirements and standards.
- Perform hands-on statistical programming and data manipulation to support planned and ad hoc analyses, addressing evolving clinical and scientific questions.
- Independently explore and interrogate clinical trial data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support clinical interpretation and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Biostatistics, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Translational research and Medical teams to ensure alignment of analyses with protocol objectives and clinical intent.
- Apply a strong understanding of therapeutic area, disease biology, and clinical endpoints to translate data into meaningful scientific insights.
- Contribute to analysis datasets, program specifications, programming documentation, and quality control activities in accordance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
- Support process improvement initiatives, including enhancing programming efficiency, standardization, and reproducibility across studies and programs.
- This role operates with a high degree of autonomy in determining programming approaches, exploratory analyses, and data interrogation strategies to answer clinical questions. The Sr. Manager may independently make decisions related to analysis methods, programming solutions, prioritization of tasks, and investigative follow-up of data issues. Escalation and alignment are expected for changes impacting study-level strategy, major deliverables, timelines with external visibility, or regulatory-facing outputs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing TFLs and performing ad hoc and exploratory analyses for clinical trials.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design, clinical data structures, and the medical context behind analyses.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive self-directed discovery from data.
- Experience supporting oncology and/or cell therapy programs is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in SAS for clinical trial analysis and reporting.
- Working knowledge of R for exploratory analyses and data visualization.
- Strong experience with clinical data standards (e.g., SDTM, ADaM).

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Data Analytics Manager
Align your credentials to the Computer Systems Analyst category
TN visa approval for Data Analytics Manager roles hinges on your degree matching the position's analytical scope. A bachelor's in computer science, statistics, or information systems strengthens your case far more than a general business degree does.
Build a role-specific support letter with your employer
Your offer letter must explain how the Data Analytics Manager role requires theoretical and practical application of computer systems analysis. Vague descriptions of leadership duties without technical grounding are the most common reason TN petitions get questioned at the border.
Search for employers with documented analytics infrastructure
Target companies that operate dedicated data platforms, business intelligence teams, or machine learning pipelines. These organizations already understand what a Data Analytics Manager does technically, which makes TN sponsorship conversations significantly more straightforward.
Ask employers whether they classify the role under a systems or engineering category
Some companies internally title Data Analytics Manager roles under engineering or product functions. If your employer's HR team classifies the position differently, your TN support documentation needs to bridge that gap explicitly before you reach the port of entry or consulate.
Use Migrate Mate to find employers actively sponsoring TN visas
Not every employer advertising a Data Analytics Manager role understands TN eligibility. Migrate Mate filters for companies with recent visa filings and sponsorship experience so you spend your time on employers who already know how to navigate work visa hiring.
Prepare for same-day Canadian entry with a complete document packet
Canadian citizens can get TN status at a land port or airport without advance USCIS filing. Bring your degree certificate, credential evaluation if your institution is outside the U.S. or Canada, the employer support letter, and the job offer in one organized packet.
Data Analytics Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Data Analytics Manager role qualify for a TN visa?
It can, but the classification requires careful framing. The TN visa has no explicit Data Analytics Manager category. Most approvals route through the Computer Systems Analyst designation, which means your employer's support letter must demonstrate the role centers on analyzing systems requirements and designing data-driven solutions, not solely on people management or business strategy.
How does TN compare to H-1B for Data Analytics Manager positions?
TN has no annual lottery, no cap for Canadians, and no multi-month USCIS processing wait. You can start a Data Analytics Manager role far faster on TN than on H-1B visa, where selection is uncertain and premium processing still takes weeks. The tradeoff is that TN requires an active employer relationship and cannot be self-sponsored.
Where can I find Data Analytics Manager jobs that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Data Analytics Manager roles at employers with recent visa filings, so you're not cold-applying to companies with no experience sponsoring work visas. Standard job boards don't filter by employer visa sponsorship experience.
What documents do Mexican citizens need for a Data Analytics Manager TN visa?
Mexican citizens apply through a U.S. consulate rather than at the border. You'll need your DS-160 application, a valid passport, the MRV fee receipt, your employer's TN support letter detailing the Computer Systems Analyst duties, and your degree certificate or transcript. Appointment wait times vary by consulate, so scheduling early in your job search is practical.
Can I switch employers if I'm already in the U.S. on a TN visa as a Data Analytics Manager?
Yes, but your TN status is tied to your current employer. You cannot begin work for a new company until a new TN is approved. Canadians can get a new TN at the port of entry with the incoming employer's documentation. Mexicans need a new consular appointment. Plan the transition timeline with your new employer before giving notice.
