Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Demand Generation Manager
Frame your credentials around management consulting
TN classification for Demand Generation Managers rests on the Management Consultant category, not a marketing category. Your resume and degree documentation should emphasize strategic advisory functions, not tactical execution or campaign management.
Target employers with dedicated revenue operations teams
Companies with structured RevOps or growth functions are more likely to have internal processes for TN sponsorship. Look for B2B SaaS and enterprise software firms where demand generation is tied directly to pipeline accountability, not just brand awareness.
Get your degree equivalency confirmed before interviewing
CBP officers assess your credentials at the border. If your bachelor's degree is in a field adjacent to marketing or business, obtain a credential evaluation in advance so you can show the connection to the management consulting TN category with no ambiguity.
Negotiate the TN support letter scope during offer stage
Ask the employer to specify your advisory and strategic responsibilities in the TN support letter, not just your job title. CBP evaluates the role description, and letters that list tactical duties without consulting language create unnecessary friction at the port of entry.
Search TN-eligible Demand Generation roles through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Demand Generation Manager postings by employers with recent visa filings and sponsorship experience. It surfaces roles structured around the consulting-level responsibilities CBP expects, saving you from applying to positions that won't support the classification.
Understand the Mexican consular timeline before accepting an offer
Mexican citizens must schedule a consular interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate rather than using the Canadian border port of entry process. Build at least six to eight weeks of lead time into your start date negotiation to account for appointment availability.

Find Demand Generation Manager JobsDemand Generation Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Demand Generation Manager role actually qualify for TN visa status?
It can, but the classification depends on how the role is structured. TN status for this title typically falls under the Management Consultant category. CBP looks for evidence that the position involves providing advisory or analytical services at a strategic level. Roles focused primarily on operating marketing tools or running ad campaigns without a consulting function are harder to qualify.
How does TN visa sponsorship for this role compare to H-1B?
TN has no annual lottery and no cap for Canadian citizens, which means you can start work as soon as CBP approves the application at the port of entry. H-1B requires lottery selection, a six-month wait after October 1 start dates, and USCIS petition approval. For Demand Generation Managers who qualify under the Management Consultant category, TN is a faster and more predictable path.
What documentation does a Canadian Demand Generation Manager need at the border?
You need your Canadian passport, a detailed employer support letter describing your consulting-level duties, proof of your qualifying degree, and the job offer. CBP officers do not require pre-filing or an approved USCIS petition for Canadian citizens. Bringing a credential evaluation is advisable if your degree is not in business, marketing, or a directly related field.
Where can I find Demand Generation Manager jobs that explicitly support TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built for this search. It filters job listings by employers with recent visa filings and surfaces roles where the job description aligns with the Management Consultant category requirements CBP evaluates. Generic job boards don't filter for TN eligibility, which means you spend time applying to roles that won't support the classification.
Can a Mexican citizen get TN status for a Demand Generation Manager role, and how does the process differ?
Yes, but the process is different from the Canadian experience. Mexican citizens cannot use the port of entry route and must apply for a TN visa at a U.S. consulate in Mexico. The annual TN allocation for Mexican nationals is capped, so scheduling an appointment early matters. The supporting documentation requirements are the same, but consular processing adds time and interview preparation to the process.
