Why this role?
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Finance Applications), you’ll play a key role in partnering with the Finance organization to create and deliver scalable technology solutions that automate core financial business processes within the Procure to Pay space. You will define and interpret complex functional requirements for the technical team, focusing on system implementations and enhancements that bridge the gap between Sales operations and Financial reporting. You'll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team and help drive our mission to embed security into every part of the AI-native development lifecycle.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead business requirements sessions and collaborate on systems design to support various parts of the business.
- Analyze and improve business processes by understanding current workflows and identifying automation opportunities.
- Design and recommend technology solutions aligned with business objectives, managing projects from initiation to implementation.
- Interact with cross-functional business teams (Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, Workato, Workday, Coupa, Zone Billing) to define requirements and understand system-wide changes.
- Lead root cause analysis for major incidents and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior team members in best practices and lead customization projects that involve cross-functional collaboration.
- Take full ownership of strategic programs and initiatives, driving them from conception to successful implementation.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Deep experience managing complex Coupa ecosystems, including core Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and integrations with systems like NetSuite, Tropic, and Workato.
- A strong understanding of procurement processes and how they are applied to achieve best-practice application solutions.
- Ability to lead architecture design for complex systems and make strategic technology recommendations.
- Advanced skills in managing complex projects or programs, including resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expert communication skills to synthesize and present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.
It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
- Are a complete team player who acts proactively and adapts to a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong adaptability to changing trends in technology and business requirements.
- Are comfortable with a high-volume and very fast-paced workload.
- Bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
COMPENSATION
- Annual Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $130,000
Snyk is committed to equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors. Actual compensation may vary based on prior experience, skills, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Our Total Rewards program includes, but is not limited to, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and health, dental, and vision insurance.
We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!

Verify your degree aligns with CBP's accountant category
TN visa classification for Financial Systems Analysts depends on CBP accepting your role under the Accountant category. A degree in accounting, finance, or information systems with a finance focus strengthens that argument. A general computer science degree alone often does not.
Document the financial scope of your role clearly
Your offer letter and support letter must emphasize financial systems work, such as ERP configuration, general ledger integration, or financial reporting automation. Roles framed primarily as IT or software development raise category mismatch concerns with CBP officers.
Target employers with active ERP or financial transformation projects
Companies mid-implementation on SAP, Oracle Financials, or Workday routinely need Financial Systems Analysts and are accustomed to sponsoring TN professionals. Look for job postings that reference system migrations, chart of accounts redesign, or financial close automation.
Ask employers about port-of-entry filing before accepting an offer
Canadian citizens can activate TN status at a land border or airport the same day, but your employer still needs to prepare a support letter and evidence package in advance. Confirm they understand this process before your start date is set.
Use Migrate Mate to find employers with recent visa filings
Searching broadly wastes time on employers unfamiliar with visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate filters Financial Systems Analyst roles by employer experience with visa filings, so you can focus outreach on companies already experienced with hiring international talent under USMCA.
Prepare for Mexican citizens' consulate appointment timeline
Mexican nationals must apply at a U.S. consulate, which adds scheduling lead time compared to Canadian port-of-entry processing. Build at least four to six weeks into your timeline between offer acceptance and your intended start date to account for appointment availability.
Financial Systems Analyst TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Financial Systems Analyst role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
Yes, but the classification depends on how your role is defined. CBP typically approves Financial Systems Analysts under the Accountant TN category when the work centers on financial systems design, ERP configuration, or financial reporting. Roles framed primarily as software development or IT administration are more likely to face pushback at the port of entry.
How does the TN visa compare to H-1B for Financial Systems Analyst positions?
TN has no lottery, no annual cap for Canadians, and Canadian citizens can activate status at a port of entry the same day. H-1B visa requires a lottery selection each spring, employer-filed petitions months in advance, and USCIS approval before starting work. For Canadian Financial Systems Analysts with a qualifying degree, TN is generally faster and more predictable than H-1B visa.
What documents does my employer need to prepare for my TN application?
Your employer must provide a support letter on company letterhead that specifies your job title, a description of duties focused on financial systems work, your anticipated length of employment, and confirmation that you meet the Accountant category's educational requirements. Many employers also include the offer letter and your degree credentials as supporting evidence.
Where can I find Financial Systems Analyst jobs that already offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Financial Systems Analyst roles from employers with recent visa filings, so you avoid spending weeks engaging with companies that lack experience with visa sponsorship and may not understand the TN process.
Can I switch employers after starting work on a TN visa as a Financial Systems Analyst?
Yes, but TN status is tied to a specific employer. Before starting with a new company, your new employer must prepare a fresh support letter and you must obtain a new TN approval, either at a port of entry if you are Canadian or through a consulate appointment if you are Mexican. You cannot simply transfer the existing TN to a new employer.
