Position Overview
Ames Tools Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team. This is an entry-level, in-office role ideal for someone looking to build a career in marketing while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas including product photography, training content, and visual asset creation.
The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in helping bring our products and brand to life across both traditional and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with product photography, including setup, shooting, and basic editing
- Support the creation of training materials, including videos, presentations, and instructional content
- Design and produce graphics and visual assets for:
- Website and eCommerce platform
- Email marketing campaigns
- Social media
- Print materials (catalogs, flyers, signage, etc.)
- Help maintain and organize the company’s digital asset library
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign execution and content development
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual and marketing materials
- Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing department
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred)
- Familiarity with photography and lighting basics (DSLR experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)
- Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.)
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (email, social, SEO)
Work Environment
- This is a fully in-office position based at our headquarters in Suwanee, GA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Collaborative, hands-on environment with direct exposure to real marketing projects
