Suno is one of the fastest-growing AI startups in the world, backed by leading investors including Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Matrix, NVentures, and Hallwood Media.
Founded in 2023 by Harvard alumni with a shared passion for music, Suno has empowered more than 100 million people to create original songs. In 2025, we raised a $250 million Series C to accelerate product innovation and international growth.
About the Role
Suno is growing fast, and paid social creative is a major driver of that growth. The right person for this role takes Suno's brand identity and pushes it into performance creative that earns attention and converts – work that drives growth and brings the excitement of using Suno to everyone who sees it.
This is a hybrid graphic and motion design role on the performance marketing team. You'll own the branded paid social creative pipeline: conceiving, producing, and iterating on work across static and motion formats. You'll work closely with the performance marketing team, treating data and channel insights as creative inputs rather than afterthoughts. Over time, you'll help build the workflows and systems that let us scale without losing what makes Suno's creative distinctive. As the team grows, there's a path to managing other creative contributors.

- Translate Suno's brand identity and creative DNA into paid social creative that drives growth across paid channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Own the full branded creative pipeline – concepting, producing, and iterating on static and motion assets
- Build and maintain a creative roadmap: what to make, what to test, what to push further, and what to move on from
- Partner with the performance marketing team to use data and channel feedback as creative inputs, not just outputs
- Use AI tools to extend creative output beyond what's manually possible – and help build the processes and guardrails that keep AI-assisted work on-brand and up to Suno's standards
- Develop workflows and production processes that scale creative output without diluting brand quality
- Help shape how the next generation of creators discovers Suno – the creative you make is often their first impression
Must-Haves
- 4-6 years in performance creative, paid social design, or growth-focused creative at a consumer tech, DTC, or growth-stage company
- Hybrid graphic and motion design skills: strong static design fundamentals and real motion/animation capability – this is not a pure graphic design role
- Portfolio of paid social work (static and motion) that demonstrates both craft and a performance orientation
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects
- Fluency in what makes paid social creative work: hooks, formats, platform conventions, and what drives meaningful iteration
- Ability to internalize a brand's visual identity and push it into new formats without losing what makes it distinctive
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted creative tools (generative image, video, or copy) as part of a real production workflow

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Motion Designer
Align your portfolio to specialty occupation standards
TN visa approval hinges on demonstrating that your Motion Designer role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field like graphic design, film, or communications. Curate portfolio pieces that reflect professional-level complexity, not generalist creative work.
Target studios with visa sponsorship experience
Broadcast networks, post-production houses, and advertising agencies regularly sponsor TN visas for Motion Designers. Search employer visa filing records to identify companies experienced with visa sponsorship before reaching out with your application.
Request a detailed offer letter covering degree requirements
Your TN application lives or dies on the offer letter. Ask the employer to specify that the Motion Designer role requires a bachelor's degree in a design-related field, and have them describe your core duties using specialty occupation language.
Prepare credential equivalency documentation as a Mexican national
Mexican nationals applying at a U.S. consulate often face stricter document scrutiny than Canadians at the port of entry. Get your degree evaluated by a NACES-recognized credential assessment service before your consular appointment to avoid delays.
Use Migrate Mate to find Motion Designer roles with active TN sponsorship
Search Migrate Mate to filter Motion Designer openings specifically by TN visa eligibility. The platform surfaces employers with verified sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with the TN process.
Clarify your software and production scope in every application
USCIS and CBP officers assess whether your duties are sufficiently specialized. List the professional tools you use, such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, or DaVinci Resolve, and connect each to deliverables that require your specific degree-level expertise.
Motion Designer TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Motion Designer role actually qualify for a TN visa?
Yes, but qualification depends on how the position is defined. The role must require a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as graphic design, visual communications, film, or a closely related discipline. If the employer's job description accepts any bachelor's degree regardless of field, CBP may deny the TN. The degree-to-role connection must be explicit in both your credentials and the offer letter.
How does TN compare to H-1B for a Motion Designer?
TN is almost always faster and more predictable for Motion Designers who are Canadian or Mexican citizens. There's no lottery, no annual cap for Canadians, and a Canadian national can be approved at a port of entry the same day. H-1B visa requires employer registration in March, a lottery selection, and a minimum five-month wait before an October 1 start date. For qualifying nationals, TN eliminates that uncertainty entirely.
Can a Mexican Motion Designer apply at the border like a Canadian?
No. Mexican nationals must apply for TN status at a U.S. consulate in Mexico, not at a port of entry. The process requires scheduling a consular appointment, submitting a DS-160, and attending a visa interview. Canada's border-entry option isn't available to Mexican citizens. Processing timelines at the consulate vary, so building in extra lead time before your intended start date is essential.
Where should I search for Motion Designer jobs that include TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN-eligible professionals and lets you filter Motion Designer openings by visa sponsorship type. That means you're targeting employers who already understand TN requirements rather than spending time educating hiring managers on the basics. It also surfaces roles where the job description is written in a way that supports the specialty occupation requirement.
What happens if my TN is approved but my Motion Designer role shifts to freelance or contract work?
TN status requires a qualifying employer-employee relationship, so a shift to independent contractor or freelance arrangements invalidates your TN authorization. If your engagement changes from full-time employment to contract, you'd need to either secure a new employer for TN sponsorship or explore a different visa classification. Notify your employer before any structural change to your work arrangement.
