INTRODUCTION
NVIDIA is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Strategic Portfolio Management team and develop the enterprise systems that help teams plan, collaborate, and deliver. The team builds and modernizes work-management platforms that connect business priorities with execution across NVIDIA. This role sits at the intersection of business systems analysis, platform engineering, and responsible AI, using automation and data-driven insights to remove friction and improve decisions. Unlike a traditional analyst position, this role owns solutions from discovery and rapid prototyping through configuration, launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll be doing:
- Lead focused discovery workshops with business users, product owners, engineering teams, and platform partners to uncover workflow friction, clarify outcomes, and identify high-value opportunities for AI, automation, or process simplification.
- Translate business needs and user feedback into clear functional, technical, and data requirements. Include measurable success criteria. Challenge feature requests that do not address the underlying need.
- Own solutions from intake through production: evaluate feasibility, AI suitability, data readiness, dependencies, and risks; prototype promising concepts; and coordinate building, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and adoption.
- Configure, coordinate, and optimize enterprise work-management platforms and connected capabilities, including projects, workflows, forms, fields, permissions, notifications, dashboards, reporting, integrations, scripts, and intelligent experiences.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that balance user experience, business value, platform standards, data privacy, responsible-AI practices, and long-term operational health.
- Partner across business and technology teams to run user acceptance testing, incorporate feedback, guide transitions and training, and confirm that delivered solutions produce measurable outcomes for NVIDIA.
- Sustain platform reliability by fixing sophisticated issues, handling access and governance, supervising health, documenting processes, and supporting upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 12 years of pertinent experience in business systems analysis, enterprise application or platform engineering, software delivery, or a related area.
- Hands-on experience coordinating and configuring Jira or a comparable enterprise work-management platform, including workflows, fields, forms, permissions, dashboards, reporting, and integrations.
- Experience in automation or scripting with Python, Groovy, or a comparable language, along with practical knowledge of database concepts, data management, and SQL.
- Proven ability leading discovery, gathering requirements, translating user needs into practical solution builds, and partnering optimally with both business and technical collaborators.
- Practical experience assessing, prototyping, or deploying AI-enabled solutions such as generative AI, copilots, intelligent agents, or large language model integrations within enterprise workflows.
- Strong analytical, consultative, communication, prioritization, and ownership skills, including the ability to diagnose sophisticated workflow, technical, data-quality, and AI-output issues and drive work to completion.
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, responsible-AI, and enterprise-governance approaches, together with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, or software development lifecycle techniques.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Deep experience with the Atlassian ecosystem, including Rovo, Jira, Focus, Talent, Confluence, Jira Align, or Atlassian Strategy Collection.
- Experience planning or accomplishing migrations from Atlassian Server or Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
- Experience governing multiple enterprise Jira instances and establishing configuration standards, platform guardrails, or responsible-AI controls.
- Experience with large language model APIs, agentic workflows, low-code or no-code AI platforms, enterprise knowledge integrations, and assessment of AI quality, reliability, performance, and adoption.
- Background in software development, technology delivery, project or product management, process improvement, workflow development, or supporting organizational evolution.

Frame your credentials around Management Consultant
TN visa approval for this role depends on CBP classifying your work under the Management Consultant category. Your resume and offer letter must emphasize advisory, diagnostic, and process improvement functions, not internal staff duties or administrative tasks.
Target employers with existing TN filing experience
Companies that have sponsored TN visas before know what the offer letter requires and won't stall on unfamiliar paperwork. Ask recruiters directly whether they've supported TN professionals before accepting an interview.
Get your offer letter language right before the border
For Canadian applicants, CBP adjudicates your TN on the spot at the port of entry. Your employer's offer letter must specify the consulting engagement scope, your degree field, and a defined project timeline. Vague letters get denied.
Use Migrate Mate to filter roles by TN sponsorship readiness
Searching general job boards surfaces roles without any sponsorship signal. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for Senior Business Process Analyst positions where employers are prepared to support TN visa documentation from day one.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation in advance
CBP officers may question whether a foreign bachelor's degree satisfies the TN education requirement. Bring official transcripts, a credential evaluation from a NACES-member evaluator, and any professional certifications that reinforce your analytical qualifications.
Clarify project-based versus permanent employment framing
TN status requires nonimmigrant intent, so your offer letter should describe the engagement in terms of defined deliverables or a project period. Open-ended permanent employment language can raise intent concerns during CBP review.
Senior Business Process Analyst TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Business Process Analyst role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
Yes, Senior Business Process Analyst positions typically qualify under the TN visa's Management Consultant category, provided your duties involve analyzing and improving organizational processes in an advisory capacity. The offer letter must make clear you're providing consulting-style expertise, not filling a permanent internal staff function. CBP makes the final classification call at the port of entry or consulate.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for this role?
TN has no annual lottery, no cap for Canadian citizens, and no USCIS petition requirement for Canadians, so approval can happen the same day at the border. H-1B visa requires a lottery entry in March, a months-long USCIS adjudication, and employer payment of filing fees. For a Senior Business Process Analyst with Canadian or Mexican citizenship, TN is almost always faster and simpler to execute.
What should the employer's offer letter include for a TN application?
The offer letter needs to state your job title, a description of your consulting duties tied to process analysis and improvement, your degree field, the business reason for hiring you, and the intended duration of the engagement. Generic offer letters that describe permanent employment without project scope are the most common reason CBP denies TN applications at the border for this role category.
Where can I find Senior Business Process Analyst jobs that support TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking U.S. roles with TN visa sponsorship. You can search Senior Business Process Analyst positions filtered by employers who are already prepared to support TN documentation, which saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering sponsorship availability late in the process.
Can Mexican citizens get TN sponsorship for this role, and is the process different?
Yes, Mexican citizens qualify for TN visas in the same occupational categories as Canadians, but the process differs. Mexican nationals must apply through a U.S. consulate in Mexico rather than at the border, which involves scheduling a consular appointment, submitting a DS-160, and attending an interview. Processing times depend on consulate workload and can range from days to several weeks.
