This role is a senior, hands-on construction attorney position responsible for supporting large, complex customer installations of Bloom Energy systems in the US and internationally in a growing, dynamic environment. - Partner with procurement and supply chain legal teams to align construction contracting with equipment supply, logistics, and installation sequencing.
- Develop and implement process improvements for construction contracting workflows, contract administration, and risk tracking.
- Provide training and practical guidance to non-legal stakeholders (project managers, engineers, commercial teams) on construction contract fundamentals, claim management, and risk mitigation.
- Support special projects as needed, including legal operations technology implementation, installation process improvements, and updating templates.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship in Senior Director Of Product
Align your credentials to qualifying TN categories
Senior Director of Product roles must fit a USMCA-listed occupation. Map your degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field to the Computer Systems Analyst or Engineer category before you apply to any role.
Target employers with recent visa filing experience
Search for companies with recent visa filings in roles similar to Senior Director of Product. Employers experienced with visa sponsorship generally understand the work visa process and can move quickly through TN visa sponsorship, which involves a support letter from the employer and presentation of documentation at the U.S. port of entry (for Canadian citizens) or a U.S. consulate application (for Mexican citizens).
Clarify TN scope during the offer negotiation stage
Product director roles sometimes blend engineering, business, and design oversight. Get your offer letter to specify technical product management duties explicitly, since a vague job description risks a TN denial at the border or consulate.
Use Migrate Mate to find TN-eligible roles
Search for Senior Director of Product positions on Migrate Mate, which filters for employers with recent visa filings and sponsorship experience. This cuts the time you spend cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with work visa processes.
Prepare a degree equivalency letter if your credential is foreign
If you hold a Canadian or Mexican university credential, carry a credential evaluation letter confirming U.S. bachelor's-level equivalency. CBP officers at the port of entry can and do question degrees not immediately recognizable as four-year equivalents.
Understand Mexican nationals need consular processing first
Unlike Canadians who can present TN documentation directly at a port of entry, Mexican nationals must apply through a U.S. consulate. Build at least six to eight weeks of lead time into your start date negotiation to allow time for the consulate application process.
Senior Director Of Product TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Director of Product role actually qualify for TN visa status?
It depends on how the role is defined. TN status requires the position to fit a USMCA-listed occupation and require a qualifying degree. If the role is structured primarily around technical product systems and requires a computer science or engineering degree, it typically qualifies under the Computer Systems Analyst category. A job description heavy on general business strategy without a technical degree requirement can be denied.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for this role?
TN has no annual lottery, no cap for Canadian citizens, and no multi-year wait. If your Senior Director of Product role qualifies under a USMCA category, a Canadian can start within days of receiving an approved offer letter. H-1B visa requires entering a lottery that only selects roughly one in four registrants and adds months of processing time before authorization begins.
What documents does my employer need to provide for TN sponsorship?
Your employer needs to issue a detailed support letter on company letterhead confirming your job title, duties, required qualifications, the USMCA category being claimed, your start date, and compensation structure. The letter is not filed with USCIS in advance for Canadians but must be thorough enough to satisfy a CBP officer at the port of entry during the same-day adjudication.
Where can I find Senior Director of Product jobs that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals searching for roles that may qualify for TN visa status. Rather than filtering through general job boards and guessing which employers understand USMCA authorization, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from companies with recent visa filings and experience sponsoring work visas, so your applications go to employers already prepared to navigate the sponsorship process.
Can I switch employers on TN status if I get a better offer?
Yes, but TN status is employer-specific. Each new employer requires a new TN application tied to their offer letter and the specific role they're hiring you into. Canadians can handle this at the port of entry. Mexican nationals need to return to a U.S. consulate. There is no grace period built into TN status the way there is with H-1B, so timing your transition carefully matters.
