Travel Coordinator Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a travel coordinator in New Hampshire?
Travel coordinator is not a state-licensed profession in New Hampshire, so there is no state board exam or registration required. Most employers look for a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field alongside hands-on coordination experience. Building proficiency in corporate travel management tools and earning a certification such as the Global Business Travel Association's Certified Corporate Travel Executive credential strengthens candidacy with larger New Hampshire employers in healthcare, defense, and higher education.
Which companies hire travel coordinators in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring travel coordinators in New Hampshire include Voyage Health, American Traveler, and Healthforce, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's corporate headquarters, major healthcare systems, and defense contractors in the southern tier of the state tend to post the most consistent openings across the year.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most travel coordinator jobs?
Lebanon, Manchester, and Nashua have the most travel coordinator openings in New Hampshire. Manchester anchors the market as the state's largest city and commercial center, Concord draws demand through state government and healthcare administration, and Nashua benefits from its dense concentration of technology and defense employers along the Massachusetts border.
Are there remote travel coordinator jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most operational roles, because much of the work involves booking systems, vendor communication, and itinerary management that can be handled from a home office. About 33% of travel coordinator openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting a genuine shift in how employers structure the role. Fully on-site positions are more common at healthcare systems and government-affiliated institutions that require in-person coordination.
How can I get hired as a travel coordinator in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an administrative or executive assistant role at a New Hampshire employer that manages significant travel volume, such as Dartmouth Health, BAE Systems, or a University System of New Hampshire campus, where coordinators often start by supporting an existing travel program. Event coordination, office management, and customer service positions at corporate employers in Manchester and Nashua also serve as common lateral moves. Earning a travel industry certification and demonstrating fluency in booking platforms like Concur gives candidates a clear edge over applicants without formal experience.
Where can I find and apply to travel coordinator jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to travel coordinator jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the listings to identify roles that match your experience and specialization, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
