Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Vacation Rental Property Manager and play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth property operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in property management, customer service, and administrative functions within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. You will support senior management by coordinating daily property activities, managing guest relations, and overseeing maintenance and guest experience by ensuring the property is in excellent condition for arrivals. This is a hands on hybrid position, with mostly hands-on day to day in the field, with light admin work as required to support the property managers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of vacation rental properties, including check-in inspections, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
- Completing tasks to include light household maintaining, or tasks to satisfy guest issues or needs.
- Handle customer service interactions via phone, messaging, and in person to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of expenses related to property repairs and maintenance.
- Contribute to conflict management efforts by mediating guest concerns and resolving disputes efficiently while upholding company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management roles with a focus on hospitality or vacation rentals
- Familiarity with property management systems and software
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to inspect & discover property maintenance concerns in a proactive manner to
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently in an office environment
- Competence in facilities management including basic property maintenance oversight and vendor coordination
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and compliance documentation
- Reliable transportation, milage reimbursement provided
- Knowledge of using smartphone apps
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
