Change Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a change manager in Florida?
There is no state-issued license required to work as a change manager in Florida, so entry comes through a combination of education and professional certification. Most Florida employers expect at least a bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, or a related field. The Prosci Change Management certification and the CCMP credential from the Association of Change Management Professionals are the most widely recognized qualifications and consistently appear in Florida job listings.
Which companies hire change managers in Florida?
Employers hiring change managers in Florida right now include Take 5 Oil Change, IMO Car Wash, and SAIC, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Florida's concentration of large healthcare systems, defense contractors, and regional financial institutions means demand is spread across multiple industries rather than a single dominant sector.
Which Florida cities have the most change manager jobs?
Jacksonville, Miami, and Tampa have the most change manager openings in Florida. Tampa and Miami drive volume through their dense financial services and corporate headquarters presence, while Orlando's strength in hospitality technology, simulation, and healthcare administration keeps it consistently active for change management roles at both contractor and in-house levels.
Are there remote change manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than many fields, since change management work centers on communication, planning, and stakeholder coordination that translates well to virtual delivery. About 50% of change manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly the role has adapted to distributed teams. Roles focused on strategy, communications, and training design are the most likely to be fully remote.
How can I get hired as a change manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a project coordinator, business analyst, or HR generalist role, since Florida's large healthcare systems and defense contractors regularly pull change management support from those adjacent positions. AdventHealth, HCA Florida, and Leidos all run rotational or associate program tracks that include organizational change work. Earning the Prosci Practitioner certification before applying gives candidates without a formal change management title a concrete credential to point to during interviews.
Where can I find and apply to change manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to change manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings across industries and experience levels. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the employers posting them.
