We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to join the AIML Data Operations group. Our team directly contributes to the development of AIML algorithms across many of Apple's products, specifically in regards to Siri and Apple Intelligence. In this role, you will drive organizational change initiatives that transform how our operations deliver data at scale for engineering teams building robust AI features for millions of customers worldwide. You will design and lead change management strategies, develop stakeholder communications and training programs, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working across a fast-moving, global organization.
DESCRIPTION
As a Change Manager within AIML Data Operations, you will lead the people side of change across a portfolio of programs that shape how our team operates. You will assess change impacts, develop and execute change management plans, and create compelling communications and training materials that drive adoption at every level of the organization. You will collaborate with program managers, DRIs, and cross-functional partners to embed change management practices into program delivery - ensuring initiatives land effectively and sustainably across global teams.
You will define change readiness strategies aligned with organizational goals, monitor adoption through data-driven insights, and proactively surface risks to leadership. Acting as a key liaison between operational leadership and impacted stakeholders, you will translate complex program changes into clear, actionable narratives that build alignment and confidence. Successful candidates are highly organized, analytically sharp, and skilled communicators who thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and care deeply about how people experience change.
Responsibilities

Conduct change impact analyses across new and evolving programs, processes, and tools within AIML Data Operations, identifying gaps between current and future states

Develop and own end-to-end Change Management Plans - including stakeholder engagement strategies, communication plans, training plans, and adoption metrics - regularly reviewing and updating to align with program milestones

Design and deliver training materials for instructor-led sessions and self-paced learning, enabling global teams to adopt new operational processes and systems effectively

Create communications for leadership, operations teams, and cross-functional partners that clearly convey the "what, why, and how" of change, building readiness and reducing resistance

Partner with program managers and DRIs to integrate change management activities into program delivery, ensuring people-side dependencies are tracked and mitigated

Engage with senior leaders to build change readiness, establish success metrics, and drive accountability for adoption outcomes

Use data dashboards and adoption metrics to develop targeted interventions and continuously improve change effectiveness

Partner with Legal, Privacy, Finance, and other corporate functions to ensure change initiatives align with organizational policies and compliance requirements

Manage change work stream status reporting, risk and dependency tracking, and forward planning across active programs

Champion process harmonization and operational consistency across global and cross-functional teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Communications, Engineering, or a related field

5 years of experience in change management, program management, organizational development, or a related discipline, including experience on cross-functional initiatives

Demonstrated expertise in change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., PROSCI/ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent frameworks)

Proven track record leading change on enterprise-scale transformation programs, including process redesign, technology adoption, or operational change

Experience developing and delivering communications and training materials for diverse audiences across organizational levels

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess change impact, interpret adoption data, and develop actionable strategies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working within AI/ML, data, or technology operations environments

PAY & BENEFITS
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,300 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
