As the Manager of Strategic Partnerships & Public Affairs, you'll play a critical role in expanding community relationships, supporting government affairs initiatives, and advancing strategic opportunities that further our mission.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, cultivate, and strengthen partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and private sector stakeholders.
- Assist with research, proposal development, and presentations for potential strategic partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership opportunities with MyCHN's organizational goals and priorities.
- Track partnership activities, outcomes, and progress through reports and partnership logs.
Public Affairs & Government Relations
- Support relationship management with elected officials, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of policy briefs, advocacy materials, and position statements.
- Represent MyCHN at community meetings, public events, and stakeholder engagements.
Executive Leadership Support
- Serve as the deputy for public affairs and partnerships to the SVP of External and Strategic Affairs.
- Support high-level strategic initiatives, departmental planning, and executive priorities.
- Assist in managing key communications, deadlines, and partnership-related projects.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in public affairs, strategic partnerships, nonprofit operations, government relations, or a related field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively
- Experience engaging diverse stakeholders and fostering collaborative partnerships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Communications, Political Science, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with legislative processes, advocacy initiatives, or community engagement efforts
