Talent Acquisition Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition manager in Texas?
Most talent acquisition managers in Texas move into the role after several years in recruiting, HR coordination, or human resources generalist work. There is no state-issued license required in Texas, but earning a credential from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or the HR Certification Institute (PHR or SPHR) strengthens candidacy significantly. A bachelor's degree in human resources or business is the standard entry point for management-track roles at Texas employers.
Which companies hire talent acquisition managers in Texas?
Employers hiring talent acquisition managers in Texas right now include KFC, Jobot, and Boston Consulting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large hospital systems, and energy companies means demand stays consistent across industries and throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most talent acquisition manager jobs?
Houston, Austin, and Dallas lead Texas for talent acquisition manager openings. Dallas and Houston drive volume through their dense concentrations of corporate headquarters, financial institutions, and energy firms, while Austin's fast-growing technology sector has made it a consistent source of recruiting leadership roles across startups and established companies alike.
Are there remote talent acquisition manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 8% of talent acquisition manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much of the role involves video interviews, digital sourcing, and ATS-based workflows. The portions of the job most likely to require on-site presence are new-hire orientations, in-person interviews, and employer branding events.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a recruiting coordinator or HR assistant at a large Texas employer and building toward a manager title from within. Major Texas health systems like HCA Healthcare and Baylor Scott and White run structured HR development programs that place early-career candidates into recruiting pipelines. Staffing agencies headquartered in Dallas and Houston also hire junior recruiters and promote quickly. Earning a SHRM-CP certification before applying gives candidates without direct management experience a measurable edge.
Where can I find and apply to talent acquisition manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to talent acquisition manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly to the employers posting them.
