Talent Acquisition Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition manager in Georgia?
Most talent acquisition managers in Georgia enter through a combination of a bachelor's degree in human resources or business and several years of recruiting or HR generalist experience. Georgia does not require a state-issued license for this role, but earning a credential such as the SHRM-CP or PHR through the Society for Human Resource Management or HRCI strengthens competitiveness. Georgia employers, particularly in Atlanta's corporate sector, frequently promote from senior recruiter or HR business partner roles into talent acquisition management.
Which companies hire talent acquisition managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring talent acquisition managers in Georgia right now include Invesco, TriNet, and Cargill, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, major healthcare networks, and large logistics employers means ongoing demand for experienced talent acquisition professionals across a broad range of industries.
Which Georgia cities have the most talent acquisition manager jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Fayetteville have the most talent acquisition manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and technology firms, while Savannah's growth in logistics and manufacturing and Augusta's large medical and government employer base create steady demand outside the metro.

Yes, and more than most fields, since talent acquisition work is largely desk-based and conducted through digital tools and video interviews. About 56% of talent acquisition manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed work. Sourcing, screening, and vendor management tend to be the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
