Talent Acquisition Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition manager in Florida?
The most direct path is a bachelor's degree in human resources or business, followed by several years of full-cycle recruiting experience before moving into a management role. Florida does not require a state-issued license to work as a talent acquisition manager. Many Florida employers, particularly in healthcare and financial services, prefer candidates who hold SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification, which demonstrates professional HR competency recognized across the state.
Which companies hire talent acquisition managers in Florida?
Companies currently hiring talent acquisition managers in Florida include Mount Sinai Medical Center, Citi, and Holland & Knight, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Florida's large healthcare systems, financial institutions, and defense contractors consistently represent some of the deepest talent acquisition hiring activity in the state.
Which Florida cities have the most talent acquisition manager jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville are the Florida cities with the most talent acquisition manager openings, driven by the concentration of corporate headquarters, regional HR hubs, and large employer campuses that anchor each metro's hiring infrastructure. Miami's financial and international business sector, Tampa's growing technology and insurance industries, and Orlando's hospitality and healthcare networks each generate consistent demand for experienced talent acquisition leadership.
Are there remote talent acquisition manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since talent acquisition work is largely desk-based, interview-driven, and conducted through digital platforms. About 77% of talent acquisition manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, reflecting the role's natural compatibility with distributed work. Sourcing, screening, and recruiter coaching are the functions most likely to stay fully remote, while onsite presence is often expected for new-hire orientation and executive-level searches.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a recruiter or HR coordinator at a large Florida employer, then building toward management over several years. Healthcare systems like AdventHealth and HCA Florida and hospitality groups headquartered in Orlando frequently hire recruiting coordinators and staffing specialists as stepping stones into talent acquisition leadership. Earning a SHRM-CP or PHR certification early strengthens your candidacy considerably, and lateral moves from HR generalist or sourcing roles are common routes into talent acquisition management across Florida.
Where can I find and apply to talent acquisition manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to talent acquisition manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across Florida's major hiring markets. Search through the roles posted for Florida, find the ones that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
