Talent Acquisition Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition manager in Pennsylvania?
Most talent acquisition managers in Pennsylvania start with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or organizational psychology, then build several years of hands-on recruiting experience before moving into management. Pennsylvania does not require a state-issued license for this role. Many hiring managers favor candidates who hold the Professional in Human Resources credential issued by HRCI or the SHRM Certified Professional designation, both of which are widely recognized by Pennsylvania employers across healthcare, finance, and technology.
Which companies hire talent acquisition managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring talent acquisition managers in Pennsylvania right now include Aramark, American Red Cross, and Lutron Electronics, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of large health systems, regional banks, and Fortune 500 headquarters means demand for in-house talent acquisition leadership remains steady throughout the year.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most talent acquisition manager jobs?
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Bensalem have the most talent acquisition manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia leads because of its dense cluster of health systems, financial institutions, and corporate headquarters, while Pittsburgh's resurgent technology and healthcare sectors drive demand there, and Harrisburg's government contractors and regional employers fill out the remainder of the distribution.
Are there remote talent acquisition manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields, since talent acquisition work is largely desk-based and conducted through digital sourcing, video interviews, and ATS platforms. About 58% of talent acquisition manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how naturally the role translates to distributed work. Strategic and leadership responsibilities tend to stay remote-eligible most often, while onboarding coordination and campus recruiting typically require some on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is to enter as a recruiting coordinator or HR generalist at a large Pennsylvania employer and build full-cycle hiring experience before pursuing a manager title. Health systems like UPMC and Jefferson Health, along with large insurers and financial firms headquartered in Philadelphia, regularly hire early-career recruiters and promote internally. Earning the SHRM-CP credential while in a coordinator role signals readiness for management. A portfolio showing sourcing results, time-to-fill improvements, or diversity recruiting outcomes strengthens a promotion case considerably.
Where can I find and apply to talent acquisition manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to talent acquisition manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Find roles that fit your experience and the industries you want to work in, then apply directly to each opening through the listing.
