We are looking for an outgoing, team-oriented person who is passionate about practicing good medicine and having funâĤ.who also happens to be a veterinarian.
Our clinic puts a very large focus on work-life balance for our staff. In order to practice good medicine and continue to love our jobs, we need to have time off to enjoy the things outside of work that make us happy. - We offer a 3 day work week for full time and a 2 day work week for part time. Although, we would consider half days as an option as well.
- We are open from 7am-5pm M-F. We have a âshiftâ schedule for the doctors:
- 7am-3pm (1hr lunch + 30mins for messages)
- 9am-5pm (1hr lunch + 30mins for messages)
- 7am-5pm (1hr lunch + 30mins for messages)
- Our full time doctors work one of each of these, and our part time doctors work one 7am-5pm and one 9am-5pm. Our doctors are typically leaving the clinic within 1 hour of their shifts ending. We are very flexible around your home life and try to do the best to fit each personâs situation.
- You would work 1 in 5 half day Saturdays. (8am-12pm)
- There is no on-call.
- 4 weeks vacation. (Yes, really!)
- Plus, 1 week of paid CE (No, weâre not kidding).
- We work with your abilities but are also happy to train new skills!
- We have had 2 doctors that did not want to do dentals, and that was fine!
- We have had 1 doctor who only did appointments, and that was fine!
- One doctor didnât do foreign body surgeries, but worked her way into doing them.
- Only 3 doctors utilize the ultrasound and 2 doctors are trained on endoscope.
- We always collaborate and help each other out with cases!
- NEW GRADS - we have now brought on 2 new grads in the last couple of years and have continued to improve our mentorship program. We love our new grads and strive to help them be successful, whatever that looks like for them.

As for the clinic, we have a full IDEXX lab, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, blood pressure machines, and a Tonovet. We use IDEXX Neo as our cloud-based practice management software.
