Vice President Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a vice president job in Nashville?
Nashville's strongest hiring for vice presidents sits in healthcare services and health tech, financial services, insurance, and corporate operations, with clusters of roles downtown, in Midtown, and in the Cool Springs and Brentwood suburban corridors. Candidates who gain regional visibility through Nashville Health Care Council events, the Nashville Technology Council, or local board service tend to move faster. A P&L ownership record and prior experience managing cross-functional teams in a Nashville-relevant sector gives you a clear edge in this market.
Which companies hire vice presidents in Nashville?
Companies currently hiring vice presidents in Nashville include Genesco, Odeko, and SESAC, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Nashville draws a mix of large regional healthcare systems, insurance carriers, fintech growth-stage firms, and national corporations that have relocated or expanded their corporate headquarters here.
Are there remote vice president jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on function, since vice president roles tied to healthcare operations, physical campuses, or client-facing leadership tend to require in-person presence. About 89% of vice president openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, skewing toward functions like marketing, technology, finance, and strategy where day-to-day work is screen-based. Nashville's fintech and SaaS employers offer the most consistent remote and hybrid flexibility at this level.
How can I get a vice president job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving into a director-level role at a Nashville mid-market company or high-growth health tech firm first, then building toward a VP title internally. Nashville employers in insurance, healthcare services, and corporate operations frequently promote directors who demonstrate budget ownership and cross-departmental leadership. Engaging with programs like the Nashville Entrepreneur Center or Conexión Américas can also surface leadership opportunities at growing local organizations where the VP pipeline is more accessible than at large national employers.
Which industries hire the most vice presidents in Nashville?
Nashville vice president roles concentrate in Fashion & Apparel, Law & Legal Services, and Investment & Asset Management, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Nashville's status as a national hub for healthcare services companies, a growing center for insurance and financial services, and an expanding base for technology and entertainment businesses drives consistent executive-level demand across those sectors.
