- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to launch and scale partnerships successfully

- You are persuasive and effective at aligning partners and internal stakeholders around a shared opportunity
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and have a track record of influencing teams to drive outcomes
- You demonstrate strong ownership across multiple projects and workstreams, with the ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution
- You are humble, hungry, and biased toward action, and you are willing to get in the weeds when needed
- You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable using structured thinking and imperfect data to make sound recommendations
- You solve problems from first principles and are energized by tackling complex challenges in strategic and creative ways

Which companies in Arizona sponsor visas for business development associates?
Technology and financial services companies in the Phoenix metro are the most consistent sponsors. Employers like GoDaddy, Axon, Vanguard, and Honeywell have filed Labor Condition Applications for business development roles in Arizona. Large enterprise software and SaaS companies with Arizona offices also sponsor, particularly for associates with technical sales or data-driven business development backgrounds.
Which visa types are most common for business development associate roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business development associates in Arizona, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or economics. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3, and Canadian and Mexican nationals should explore the TN visa under the USMCA, which can cover business development roles under applicable professional categories.
Which cities in Arizona have the most business development associate sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and Scottsdale account for the large majority of business development associate sponsorship jobs in Arizona. Tempe, home to Arizona State University and a growing tech corridor, also has notable employer concentration. Chandler and Mesa have seen increased hiring from semiconductor and enterprise technology companies. Outside the Phoenix metro, Tucson has a smaller but active market tied to the University of Arizona and defense-adjacent industries.
How to find business development associate visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Arizona employers actively open to sponsoring business development associates. Rather than sorting through general job boards, you can browse roles on Migrate Mate that are tagged for sponsorship and filtered to Arizona, saving time during a job search where visa eligibility is a core requirement.
Are there any Arizona-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for business development associates?
Arizona's growing tech sector, anchored by the Phoenix metro, means many sponsoring employers are mid-to-large technology or financial services companies rather than small startups, which tend to have more established HR and legal infrastructure for managing H-1B filings. Arizona State University and the University of Arizona also supply a steady pipeline of international graduates in business disciplines, which has led some local employers to develop more consistent sponsorship processes for early-career business development roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business development associate jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
