Which companies in Arizona sponsor visas for cloud architects?
Several large Arizona employers have active histories of sponsoring work visas for cloud architects. Intel's Chandler campus, Banner Health, American Express's Phoenix technology division, Charles Schwab, and Microchip Technology have all filed Labor Condition Applications for cloud and infrastructure roles. Large consulting firms with Arizona offices, including Accenture and Infosys, also sponsor cloud architects placed with local clients.
Which visa types are most common for cloud architect roles in Arizona?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for cloud architect roles in Arizona, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Candidates with relevant multinational experience may also qualify for an L-1A or L-1B intracompany transfer. Some employers also sponsor EB-2 or EB-3 green card petitions for long-term hires.
Which cities in Arizona have the most cloud architect visa sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and its surrounding suburbs account for the majority of cloud architect sponsorship activity in Arizona. Chandler is notable for Intel's large technology campus. Scottsdale hosts significant financial services and SaaS company offices. Tempe has a growing technology presence partly connected to Arizona State University. Tucson represents a smaller but active secondary market, particularly for defense and government-adjacent technology employers.
How to find cloud architect visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters cloud architect roles in Arizona by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sifting through listings that won't consider sponsored candidates. You can search by role and state, then review which employers have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications in Arizona, which is one of the most reliable signals that a company is willing to sponsor.
Are there any Arizona-specific factors that affect cloud architect visa sponsorship?
Arizona's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B cloud architect roles are determined by the Department of Labor based on the Phoenix or Tucson metropolitan area, which tend to reflect competitive but slightly lower benchmarks than San Francisco or Seattle. Arizona State University and University of Arizona produce a steady pipeline of computer science graduates, meaning employers are familiar with OPT transitions to H-1B sponsorship for candidates already working in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cloud architect jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
