Which companies sponsor visas for patient service specialists in Arizona?
Banner Health is among the most active sponsors in Arizona, given its network of hospitals and outpatient clinics across the Phoenix metro. Dignity Health, Valleywise Health, and Sonora Quest Laboratories also hire patient service specialists and have sponsored work visas for qualified candidates. University of Arizona Health Network in Tucson is another notable employer with established HR processes for international hires.
Which visa types are most common for patient service specialist roles in Arizona?
H-1B visa is the most common visa for patient service specialists whose roles meet the specialty occupation standard, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in a health-related field. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying healthcare administration categories. Some roles may qualify under the H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Each case depends on how the employer defines the position and the applicant's specific credentials.
Which cities in Arizona have the most patient service specialist sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and the broader Maricopa County area account for the largest concentration of patient service specialist openings in Arizona, driven by Banner Health's extensive system and numerous outpatient care centers. Tucson is the second-largest market, with University of Arizona Health and Banner University Medical Center as anchor employers. Mesa, Scottsdale, and Chandler also see consistent hiring activity within larger regional health networks.
How to find patient service specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters job listings to surface roles where employers have a history of visa sponsorship. You can search directly for patient service specialist positions in Arizona to see current openings at Banner Health, Dignity Health, and other major Arizona employers. Filtering by sponsorship history helps you focus on applications where international candidates are genuinely considered, rather than applying broadly and hoping.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for patient service specialists seeking visa sponsorship?
Arizona's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program apply at the state level, and employers in Phoenix and Tucson must meet Department of Labor wage determinations for the specific occupation code assigned to the role. Arizona's high volume of healthcare system consolidation means many patient service specialist positions sit within large health networks, which tend to have dedicated immigration counsel and more predictable sponsorship processes than smaller independent clinics.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient service specialist jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
