Which companies sponsor visas for strategy directors in Arizona?
Intel's Chandler campus, American Express's Phoenix operations, Banner Health, and Microchip Technology are among Arizona employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship activity in senior strategy roles. Large consulting firms with Phoenix offices, including Deloitte and Accenture, also sponsor strategy director positions. Employers in the semiconductor and financial services sectors tend to sponsor most consistently, reflecting Arizona's strongest industry concentrations.
Which visa types are most common for strategy director roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa for strategy director roles in Arizona, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, or a related field, meeting specialty occupation criteria. Candidates with extraordinary recognition in their field may qualify for an O-1A. Senior leaders transferring from a foreign affiliate of an Arizona employer may be eligible for an L-1A intracompany transferee visa.
Which cities in Arizona have the most strategy director sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix accounts for the majority of strategy director sponsorship activity in Arizona, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and healthcare systems. Scottsdale hosts a notable cluster of mid-size companies and financial technology firms with active hiring at the director level. Chandler and Tempe add supply through Intel's semiconductor operations and Arizona State University's affiliated research and commercialization entities.
How to find strategy director visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse strategy director roles in Arizona without sorting through postings from employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces openings at companies with verified sponsorship histories, which is particularly useful at the director level where roles are less frequently advertised and employer sponsorship willingness varies significantly across industries and company sizes.
Are there state-specific considerations for strategy director visa sponsorship in Arizona?
Arizona's semiconductor industry, anchored by Intel and TSMC's expanding Mesa fabrication facility, creates demand for strategy directors with technology and supply chain backgrounds, making those specializations particularly competitive for sponsorship. Arizona State University's business and engineering graduate pipelines also mean employers are accustomed to sponsoring international talent. The H-1B prevailing wage requirement applies statewide, and the Phoenix metropolitan area's wage level determinations are set by the Department of Labor based on local market data.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy director jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
