Which companies in Arkansas sponsor visas for program development managers?
Healthcare organizations such as UAMS, Arkansas Children's Hospital, and Baptist Health have sponsored international workers in program and project management roles. Walmart's corporate headquarters in Bentonville and its supplier network also represent notable sponsorship sources. State agencies and nonprofit organizations occasionally sponsor as well, though large healthcare and retail-adjacent employers are the most consistent sponsors for this role category in Arkansas.
Which visa types are most common for program development manager roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for program development managers in Arkansas, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, public health, or a related discipline, meeting specialty occupation criteria. Candidates with multinational employer backgrounds may also encounter L-1A petitions. TN visa status is available for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible management or professional classifications.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most program development manager sponsorship jobs?
Little Rock concentrates the largest share of program development manager opportunities, driven by state government agencies, UAMS, and healthcare networks headquartered there. Bentonville and the broader Northwest Arkansas region have grown significantly due to Walmart's global operations and its ecosystem of vendor and technology firms. Fayetteville adds university-affiliated and nonprofit roles, making these three metros the primary targets for international candidates in this field.
How to find program development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters program development manager roles by state, so you can browse Arkansas opportunities without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform surfaces employers with verified sponsorship history, which is particularly useful in Arkansas where sponsorship activity is concentrated among healthcare systems, large retail employers, and select government contractors rather than spread broadly across industries.
Are there state-specific considerations for program development managers pursuing sponsorship in Arkansas?
Arkansas has a relatively smaller international talent pipeline compared to coastal states, which means fewer employers have established immigration infrastructure. Candidates benefit from targeting larger institutions such as UAMS or Walmart-affiliated employers that have dedicated HR and legal resources for visa processing. The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville also generates some OPT-to-sponsorship pathways for graduates in public administration and related programs, which can be a practical entry point.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program development manager jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
