Which companies sponsor visas for program development managers in New Hampshire?
Employers with documented sponsorship activity in New Hampshire's program management space include BAE Systems in Nashua, Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, and technology firms in the Manchester-Nashua corridor. Higher education institutions such as the University of New Hampshire and Dartmouth College also sponsor international professionals in program development and administrative management roles. Defense contractors operating in southern New Hampshire tend to file the highest volume of sponsorship petitions.
Which visa types are most common for program development manager roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for program development managers in New Hampshire, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, education, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT may work in this role while a sponsor files an H-1B petition. L-1B transfers are also used when a multinational employer moves an internal candidate to a New Hampshire office.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most program development manager sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of program development manager opportunities in New Hampshire, driven by the concentration of healthcare systems, defense contractors, and technology employers. Concord, as the state capital, adds public-sector and nonprofit program management roles. Lebanon and Hanover in the Upper Valley are worth monitoring given Dartmouth Health and Dartmouth College, both of which have sponsored international staff in comparable positions.
How to find program development manager visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search program development manager roles in New Hampshire without sifting through postings from employers who don't sponsor. The platform aggregates openings from healthcare systems, defense contractors, and universities across Manchester, Nashua, and Concord. Setting up alerts for New Hampshire program management roles on Migrate Mate helps you respond quickly when sponsoring employers post openings.
Are there state-specific or role-specific considerations for program development managers pursuing sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure total compensation packages but does not directly change sponsorship eligibility. For H-1B petitions, the sponsoring employer must certify a prevailing wage through a Labor Condition Application filed with the Department of Labor. Program development manager roles in New Hampshire's defense sector may also require security clearance eligibility, which some employers factor into hiring decisions for sponsored candidates. Public university positions sometimes follow different sponsorship timelines tied to academic hiring cycles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program development manager jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
