Which healthcare companies in Arkansas sponsor TN visas?
Baptist Health, Arkansas Children's Hospital, UAMS Medical Center, Mercy Health, and CHI St. Vincent are among the larger healthcare systems in Arkansas with established international hiring processes. Smaller regional hospitals and multi-site clinic groups also sponsor TN visa workers, particularly for hard-to-fill clinical roles. Sponsorship practices vary by facility and role, so confirming with each employer's HR or recruitment team is the right starting point.
Which Arkansas cities have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Little Rock has the highest concentration of TN-eligible healthcare jobs, driven by UAMS Medical Center, Baptist Health, and Arkansas Children's Hospital. Fayetteville and Springdale in Northwest Arkansas are growing quickly, anchored by Washington Regional Medical Center and Mercy. Jonesboro is the regional hub for Northeast Arkansas, with St. Bernards Medical Center being the largest employer. Fort Smith also has notable healthcare hiring activity through Mercy and Baptist facilities.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Arkansas?
TN visa eligibility in healthcare is tied to specific occupational categories listed under USMCA. Qualifying roles include registered nurses, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, medical laboratory technologists, dietitians, and certain medical and clinical laboratory scientists. Physicians and dentists may qualify under the scientist or specialist categories depending on role scope. Administrative, support, and general management healthcare positions generally do not qualify, as TN requires a professional-level role matched to an eligible classification.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international professionals seeking TN and other work visa sponsorship jobs, making it a practical starting point for healthcare roles in Arkansas. You can filter by state and visa type to surface positions at Arkansas employers who are open to TN candidates. Because TN sponsorship is not always advertised explicitly in job listings, using a platform that aggregates employer sponsorship signals saves significant time compared to reviewing individual postings.
Are there any Arkansas-specific considerations for healthcare TN sponsorship?
Arkansas requires out-of-state nurses and allied health professionals to obtain state licensure before practicing, and Canadian or Mexican professionals on TN status are subject to the same requirements. The Arkansas State Medical Board, Arkansas State Board of Nursing, and relevant allied health boards all have their own credentialing timelines, which can add weeks to the process after a job offer is accepted. Factoring in licensure processing time when planning your start date is important, as TN status alone does not authorize practice without the appropriate state license.
